SAJO wins big at the GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN competition.

GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN, an international design competition, is operated by the media firm, Agence PID.

This Quebec-based bilingual organization also manages two other design platforms: INTÉRIEURS, a high-end, hard copy design magazine and the portal, Agence PID’s objective is to globally promote the creativity found in the many facets of design. The design competition recognizes excellence in architecture, landscape creativity, and the built environment. Winners at the GRAND PRIX DU DESIGN are announced at two annual galas, one held in Montreal, QC, the other in Quebec City, QC, with both galas drawing an international crowd. One edition of the magazine INTÉRIEURS showcases the top the winners in each category of the competition while the portal publishes the entire photo list of winners.

This competition is judged by an international, multidisciplinary panel consisting of design professionals, architects, academics, entrepreneurs, journalists, and publishers. All are well regarded in their field of expertise and bring their technical knowledge and unique specializations to the evaluation process, thereby ensuring the projects/products chosen meet the highest standards.

Of the 10 projects SAJO selected to enter in the GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN competition, we were extremely flattered to have walked away with a prize for each entry – one of our projects having received a “Grand Winner” award, five receiving Gold Certification, and four, Silver Certification.

Our “Grand Winner” was an Alexander McQueen boutique in Las Vegas.

We received gold certification for the following high-end retail projects: Alexander McQueen (Hawaii), Celine (London), Kith (Miami), and Moose Knuckles, (Atlanta) as well as the New York City cocktail lounge, Outer Heaven (NYC).

Dior (Boston), Dior (Houston), Louis Vuitton (Dallas) and the Miami soft-serve ice cream restaurant Treats, received silver certification.
